MinnPACE Posts Strong First Half of 2026 with $22.5 Million Invested in Energy Upgrades Across Minnesota

MINNESOTA – MinnPACE reported a strong first half of 2026, closing seven financing projects and investing more than $22.5 million in energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements at properties across the state.

The investments are projected to save more than 2.9 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of energy annually, helping property owners reduce operating costs while advancing sustainability goals.

Project activity was concentrated in the Minneapolis area, though financing supported developments throughout Minnesota. The diverse portfolio included retroactive PACE assessments, new construction boiler installations, roof replacements, and solar energy projects, demonstrating the flexibility of the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing program.

“We’re proud of our strong start to 2026, and the projects currently in the pipeline are setting the stage for an exceptional year ahead.,” Holly Huston, VP of Finance noted.

In addition to supporting projects statewide, the Saint Paul Port Authority, administrator of MinnPACE, continued its outreach efforts within the commercial real estate community. The organization recently participated in the Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Women (MNCREW) Annual Golf Event, connecting with industry professionals and sharing information about PACE financing opportunities.

With strong momentum through the first six months of 2026, MinnPACE is positioned for continued growth as property owners seek innovative ways to finance energy-saving improvements and clean energy investments.
